Luna is in need of a new forever home. She is great with kids. She was house broken and crate trained when they were able to keep her inside. She has been outside the past couple years. We do not know about cats. She has tested great with other dogs so far here at the shelter. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Get those applications in.

  • Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Grayson, Carroll, Pulaski, Bland, Smyth and Wythe County
  • Adopters must fill out an Adoption Application Form - speed up adoption by bringing a completed form with you when visiting the shelter or E-mail it to shelter@wytheco.org
  • Adopters must sign an agreement to have the adopted pet vaccinated and spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.
  • Adopters must return the proof of sterilization paperwork within seven (7) days of dog being spayed or neutered.
  • Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone including out of state residents.
